He advises on life insurance, mortgage protection and income protection, with a strong focus on keeping things clear and manageable, even when the situation itself is not. John explains what’s possible, what isn’t, and why, without jargon or pressure.
John often works with people who are unsure where to start. That includes clients who are nervous about their medical history, past disclosures, or who simply want straight answers before making any decisions. His approach is calm and practical, making sure people understand their options and feel comfortable with the choices they’re making.

Protection Advisor
Richie is known for his clear, client-first approach and his ability to make complicated situations feel far less daunting.
He enjoys working with the self-employed, and clients whose circumstances don’t fit neatly into a box, particularly where medical history or underwriting is a concern. Richie focuses on giving advice that is clearly explained, so people can make decisions without feeling rushed or second-guessed.
A graduate of ATU Galway with a background in Hospitality Management and Employment Law, Richie places huge value on communication and trust. He is particularly good with clients who feel unsure or overwhelmed, or who have had frustrating experiences elsewhere, taking the time to talk things through properly and keep everything grounded in plain English.
When he’s not advising clients, he’s usually out walking with his wife Devin, daughter Harper, and their dog Phoebe, or juggling gymnastics runs, Lego, Formula 1 and keeping a close eye on Leinster rugby.
